The INSTEM student application period is now open for Summer 2024.
The Great Plains STEM Education Center at Valley City State University has been conducting weeklong summer STEM academies for cohorts of North Dakota Native American middle and high school students since 2018. In 2020, the program was officially named INSTEM (Indians into STEM). Students entering 7th through 12th grades for the 2024-25 school year are eligible to apply.

Congratulations to Ann Crosby, junior at Bowbells Public School. Ann is CRACTC's November Student of the Month! She is currently enrolled in Michelle Hoff's Sports and Entertainment Marketing. 🚨After a brief meeting this evening we've decided to change some stuff again.. Keep in mind this is a fundraiser to help us be able to do activities for the kids in our school. We have put a bunch of thought into this decision and we hope you will come support us! We are sorry for any confusion this may cause.
Turkey Bingo is Monday, December 4th in the school cafeteria, doors open at 6:15.
Cards are $5 for one or $12 for three..After 20 Turkeys have been won we will do a brief intermission and rebuy cards. There will be free snacks and beverages to enjoy!

Encore performance for our State Bound Drama Cast and Crew! Sunday, November 19 at 2:00 pm at Bowbells Public School.
The Bowbells School recently updated their phone system. The only phone number that will work to call the school is 701-377-2397. The phone number 701-377-2396 is no longer in service. When you call, you will hear an automated message with options to choose the main office, superintendent, or elementary principal. If no one answers, you will be prompted to leave a message. There is a couple second delay before you will be able to leave a message, please be patient. Thank you for your patience with our upgrade.
STEM projects contunued!
Last week our Eskimo Families engaged in a STEM project. They were allowed to choose 5 items from a trash/junk pile and had 15 minutes to create something. Then they had to present/sell their creation to the rest of the student body.
Congratulations to the Bowbells-Burke Central Drama team for placing 2nd at Regionals and advancing to state. Gunner I. received a Superior Acting award and Mya W. received an Honorable Mention.
In observance of Veterans Day, there will be no school on Friday, November 10.
Students attended the Minot Area Career Expo on Wednesday. They had the opportunity to engage with a variety of career options.
