Bowbells Community!! There is a complimentary spring screening event for children ages 3-5 coming up soon, on August 22nd, 2024 in Bowbells. If your child has not had a developmental screening, please consider signing up! Please see the attached poster for more details and how to schedule your appointment.
🦆 🏹 Please join the Des Lacs National Wildlife Refuge on August 24th for Honker Day (formerly known as Greenwing Day), 🏹 🦆
The event includes outdoor learning for all ages - parents are requested to attend with young children. Prizes and lunch will be provided for all participants. Kids rotate through five stations including an archery shoot, fish cleaning station, waterfowl hunting, scavenger hunt, and practicing law enforcement skills with the game warden scenarios.
Where: Boat Dock Day Use Area
Time: Registration from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm
Event from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
*A bus will provide rides from the Kenmare High School parking lot. The bus will leave at 9:00 am and return between 1:30-2:00 pm.

Attention Parents of students K -8 graders: we want to invite you to our 1st annual youth football camp Monday July 29th thru Thursday August 1st. This camp is free and will focus on teaching the fundamentals of football and develop a love for the game.
Camp Schedule:
Monday: Offensive Skills (Blocking, throwing, catching, route running, and kicking)
Tuesday: Defensive Skills (Tackling, coverage, turnovers)
Wednesday: Game Day Preparation (offense and defense concepts, skill competitions)
Thursday: Game Day (Scrimmage games)
*Camp Tshirts can be purchased from the link in the comments but a camp Tshirt is not required.

So this year k-6 can sign up for football!
All practices are in Kenmare and games are on Saturdays in Minot.

Athletic Awards Program at Kenmare Public School on Thursday, May 23 starting at 8:30 am. Students in grades 7 - 12 will be recognized for their accomplishments in varsity athletics. The awards program will take place in the Kenmare School Auditorium.
