distinguished student runner up
Congratulations to Mya Woodbeck for being chosen as the NDHSAA Distinguished Student Runner Up. Mya was awarded a $1000 scholarship to the school of her choice. She will also attend a leadership conference this summer in Indianapolis. She will be invited next year to the NDHSAA state events to represent the association in the presentation of awards. Mya was nominated by Mrs. Thingvold for her leadership in BHS activities. She had to fill out an application which included an essay describing how activities have impacted her life. Mya was chosen as one of the top six to move onto the next process which involved an interview. There was an awards presentation following the interviews of the six finalists. Mya was chosen as the Runner up. Congratulations Mya!
